After being struck by lightning, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) wakes up from his coma to discover he's been given the power of super speed, becoming a superhero, The Flash, fighting crime in Central City. Who doesn’t want a superhero like Barry? Now that the Dominators is defeated, Team Flash can’t ignore the threat of Savitar in the winter finale of The Flash.
According to Entertainment Weekly, when Team Flash set a trap for Doctor Alchemy, Savitar, the god of motion appeared. He has been the one pulling the strings. Jay Garrick (John Wasley Shipp) will help Barry to stop Savitar and Doctor Alchemy, but will they succeed? The executive director of the show, Andrew Kreisberg said their Christmas episode is very emotional and tearful. There will be new issues the heroes have never faced before, events that will occur in the upcoming episodes will make a big twist that will change the direction of the show.
According to Collider, season 1 was great, but season 2 had its ups and downs, it has been a little bit boring with the villain Zoom and it looks like the creators will try something more ambitious and exciting in the upcoming season. Some events in the past season didn’t make much sense, like when Barry was making out with Iris on the front porch when he decided he will go and do something selfish. The directors didn’t manage to balance the events in Barry’s life. Every event started and ended in one episode. In the third season in a row, the Big Bad appears to be faster than the Flash. Barry is constantly apologizing to everyone, even the directors are talking about changing the direction of the show.
According to Comic Book, Barry heads for Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick on how to stop Savitar when Wally tells Barry he's been training with H.R. Christmas time is supposed to be fun, but not for Cisco, his old wounds were reopened when he faced Christmas without Dante.
“The Flash” season 3 episode 10 will be aired on January 17, 2017.
