A performance patch for PC has also been released. Complete notes for the patch haven't been released yet, but it said to give "Batman: The Telltale Series" Episode 5 performance improvements, plus performance-related settings that weren't available before.
Other than the release date for "Batman: The Telltale Series" Episode 5, Telltale also announced that Episode 1 "Realm of Shadows" is now free on Steam for Windows PC. According to Polygon, players can pay $24.99 for the season pass should they want to upgrade to the full game.
"In 'Batman: The Telltale Series' Episode 5, Children of Arkham prepares to execute the final act of a plan to destroy the Wayne family name, and the people closest to you are in their path of vengeance," Telltale said. "Can Batman's ultimate secret be kept-his very identity-when it is causing chaos and death in Gotham? The fate of the Wayne family and of the city itself rests on your choices," the company added via Twitter.
"Batman: The Telltale Series" Episode 5: How Will It Be Received?
It was last week when Telltale released a huge patch for the Steam version, which was meant to increase support for different PC setups. However, Steam users weren't happy of the performance since Episode 1 launched in August. "Batman: The Telltale Series" Episode 5 however is supposed to exceed players' expectations, since Telltale Games itself has straightened out the underlying issue, explaining the patch was meant for Episode 1 and not for the full game.
