"Lucifer" Season 2 episode 11 has been confirmed to air in early 2017 and fans are starting to wonder whether that would be the perfect time for Lucifer Morningstar, played by Tom Ellis, and Chloe Decker, played by Lauren German, to finally be together. According to the latest reports, the upcoming episode is going to focus more on the future plans of Lucifer's mother, Charlotte, and Chloe's mysterious past.
During the last episode of the season, fans were able to discover why Chloe is able to resist the prince of hell. Apparently, she is considered as a miracle baby, who is part of God's plan to challenge the power of Lucifer. According to the report, more of Chloe's past will be featured in "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 11.
In an interview with TV Line, show runner Ildy Modrovich revealed that fans will see more flashbacks in "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 11 to make viewers understand Chloe's past. "We have four episodes at the very end [of Season 2] that are going to be completely standalone, and we plan to make of them a flashback to Lucifer first arriving," says the TV producer and writer.
There are speculations suggesting that the remainder of "Lucifer" Season 2 will also see Lucifer's backstory especially how he ended up in Los Angeles. Several theories are saying that Lucifer and Chloe will finally be together at the end of the season. However, this has yet to be confirmed as the people behind the show promise fans that the rest of the season will reveal several dark secrets about certain characters.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Lucifer's mother, Charlotte, who is played by Tricia Heller, will do everything in her power to make his son and Chloe be together as this will serve as her ticket back to heaven. "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 11 will also feature an intense scene between Charlotte and Maze.
