"FTL: Faster Than Light" is an indie game develop by Subset Games. It was first released for Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linus in September 2012. Faster Than Light is a strategy, top-down rouge-like space ship game simulator that travels and battles other enemy spaceship.
"FTL: Faster Than Light" has a top-down perspective or sometimes referred to as a Bird's-eye view as the camera angle in the game shows the top view of the spaceship. The game has a Rogue-like sub genre that is characterized by turn-based game-play, procedural generated game levels and permanent death.
