One of the most enduring crime procedural TV dramas that ever hit the television as of late, "Bones," is now en route to its final season. Naturally, the show is awash with more buzz than ever as it readies itself in entering its twelfth installment, a bittersweet ride for the fans of the show. And who else could further this adventure on "Bones" Season 12 than Agent Seeley Booth himself?
Mr. Booth has released a series of tweets indicating that "Bones" Season 12 is definitely bowing with a bang. According to David Boreanaz, he's currently "at the helm" of the show, with a seeming indication that he's going down with the ship. This is quite evident as one of the photos he shared was that of the Jeffersonian lab looking completely destroyed. Further, it appears that Boreanaz is getting what he has hoped for as he previously wished to annihilate the lab with a tank when the series finally concludes.
Moreover, Boreanaz has also revealed that the final shooting of "Bones" Season 12 has already started. He tweeted, "November 29th final shooting production starts for @BONESonFOX that is all. Last show."
The eleventh season of "Bones" has ended with its much-needed bang when Brennan (Emily Deschanel) was kidnapped and has seen Zack (Eric Millegan) in front of her. The latter has ominously quipped that they had a lot to talk about. Meanwhile, Fox has officially provided the description for "Bones" Season 12. The network has revealed, "Throughout the final chapter, fans will see the return of fan-favorite guest stars and squinterns, as well as an old flame from one of the team's past. Fans also will experience a wedding, follow an epic serial killer storyline, go undercover in a lumberjack competition and see Booth and Brennan's marriage get put to the test. As always, new guest stars will be introduced, as well as a final round of gory murders, from which brand-new investigations will arise."
"Bones" Season 12's premiere, "The Final Chapter: The Hope In The Horror," is scheduled to air on Jan. 3, Tuesday at 9PM ET on Fox. Stay tuned for more spoilers in the following weeks!
