"Dead Rising 4" which was recently released on both Xbox One and PC will be openly exclusive for both Xbox One and PC alone. But Microsoft has recently released some hints that the game will also be available on both Steam and PS4 later.
According to Game Spot, Microsoft mentioned that "Dead Rising 4" will continue to be an exclusive game for Xbox One for a year and Windows 10 PC for 90 days at the start of its release. However, Capcom Vancouver, its game developer, will also publish the game in PlayStation 4.
The earlier versions of the game series were exclusive for Xbox One for 10 months. A PC version was later released. "Dead Rising 4" did not come out for PS4 because of its exclusive deal with Xbox One. But speculations have been spreading that a PS4 game version will be released in the next couple of months.
According to iDigital Times, players will play the role of Frank West, who came back to Willamette, Colorado during Christmas. Later did he know that the town has been infested with zombies. It's also set in an open world setting which is quite different with its previous games and will not be time constrained. The game is only available on a single player mode for both offline and online versions. Avid fans speculate that the main character wouldn't be alone on this while he's trying to figure his way out.
Aside from "Dead Rising 4", other games that will soon be released on PlayStation 4 include "Rise of Tomb Raider", which was exclusively released on Xbox One as well. The game is scheduled to be released this holiday season although the company still hasn't confirmed any date. "Dead Rising 4" was released on Xbox One and PC on December 6.
