Samsung Galaxy S7 is reported to share some similarities with HTC 10 and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium in terms of software. Samsung Galaxy S7 and the said HTC and Sony handsets run on an Android 6.0 and can be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat. This is why the three smartphones are now being compared.
Samsung Galaxy S7 has the smallest display size compared with the other two handsets, with its 5.1-inch Super AMOLED with QHD resolution. HTC 10 has QHD 5.2" display with a Super LCD 5 capacitive touchscreen that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The Xperia Z5 Premium screen, on the other hand, is slightly bigger than the other two, with its 5.5" IPS LCD display and 4K resolution, which also comes with scratch-resistant glass and oleophobic coating.
The three flagship devices are reported to offer the best in the market. This is quite evident with the latest quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15 GHz in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and HTC 10. However, the Xperia Z5 Premium is just little behind with an octa-core 2.0 GHz CPU and Snapdragon 810 processor.
Both Samsung Galaxy S7 and the HTC 10 come in two variants of 32GB and 64GB internal storage with a 4GB or RAM. The Xperia Z5 Premuim, on the other hand, has only 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. All the three flagship devices have an option for an expandable storage up to 256GB, according to report.
Meanwhile, following months of speculations, leaks and rumors, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has finally released. According to reports, the smartphone is far from being just an update. Before the launch, rumors suggest of 6GB of RAM, 259GB of storage and a 4K display.
