Apple has finally seeded the fifth beta of the most awaited iOS 10.2 update to both developers and public beta testers today. It is basically four days after seeding the fourth beta of iOS 10.2, and over a month after releasing iOS 10.1.
Only those registered developers are allowed to download the iOS 10.2 beta 5 either from the Apple Developer Center or over-the-air. The upcoming iOS 10.2 brings a bunch of emojis, which include selfie, face palm, clown face, pancakes, fox face, and many more. Over a hundred new emojis will be expected from the iOS 10.2. Profession emoji for both male and female genders are also included.
Apart from that, the iOS 10.2 also introduces new wallpaper, music sorting options and buttons for both repeat and shuffle, and two, new screen effects. More so, iOS 10.2 offers an option to preserve the user's preferred camera settings, TV app, as well as SIngle-Sign On support for watch live TV through apps.
The TV app aims to make the television watching experience much simpler and at the same time allow users to discover new movies and other TV shows to watch. In iOS 10.2, the Videos app has been replaced with the TV app.
Meanwhile, lost and stolen iOS devices are more likely at risk if ne'er-do-wells learn of this blunt-force process of getting past the Activation lock.
