Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Divorce Update: Angie Divorced Brad to Secure Top U.N. Job?

Angelina Jolie reportedly filed for divorce from Brad Pitt so she can become the Secretary General of the U.N. This is supposedly the reason she has been fighting for sole custody of their six children, so she can permanently move with the kids to the United Kingdom.

TMZ first reported about Angelina Jolie's supposed plans to permanently settle in the UK with her children. According to sources, she wants to move to the UK so she can pursue her dream job as Secretary General of the U.N. This is supposedly, why she divorced Brad Pitt in the first place and not because of the actor's reported bad habits.

However, Angelina Jolie's representative denied these claims. Her rep said the actress has every intention to remain in Los Angeles with her six children. She has also reportedly agreed to undergo therapy sessions, not just with her kids but with Brad Pitt also.

'It's absolutely false. She has no intention of moving to London," Angelina Jolie's representative said as quoted by Mail Online.

The rep added that Angelina Jolie does not even have plans to move away from Los Angeles. In fact, she is currently looking for a home in Los Angeles. She wants to settle around the area so she can focus on the therapy sessions with her estranged husband Brad Pitt.

Likewise, another source denied Angelina Jolie's move to the UK. This source said the actress has even delayed filming her movie "First They Killed My Father" to make way for her children. She reportedly wants to spend more time with the kids while they are in Malibu and Los Angeles.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still battling over custody of their six children. Jolie wants sole custody while Pitt wants joint custody. As it stands, the court has yet to announce a ruling over the estranged couple's requests, although Jolie still has primary custody of the kids.
