‘Wentworth' Season 5 Premiere Date, Speculations: Latest Theory Explains Why Bea Smith Returns

"Wentworth" Season 5 will definitely bring back Bea Smith, according to the latest theory about her return. Danielle Cormack's silence on those various speculations about Bea, could supposedly hint to her appearance in the instalment.

Danielle Cormack has been mum on those speculations that Bea Smith is alive in "Wentworth" Season 5. Cormack, who plays Bea Smith from Seasons 1 to 4, has so far not confirmed nor denied that she will reprise her character. Instead, she has opted not to comment about Bea's fate in the instalment.

Naturally, fans associated her silence to mean yes, Bea Smith will be in "Wentworth" Season 5. Likewise, fans shared their suspicions that showrunner Jo Porter only wants to trick viewers into believing that Bea is dead. It was so easy for her to admit that both Bea and Danielle Cormack will not be in the instalment.

Of course, Porter would also never say that Bea is alive. It would only spoil the show. Instead, the safest route would have to be telling fans that she is dead. This could then lead to a great season premiere, when they see the Top Dog actually alive in "Wentworth" Season 5.

"I just want to point out that because people involved in the show are saying Bea is dead, does not mean she is dead. Why would they say she is alive, after essentially killing/almost killing her they would never spoil anything that big," a fan pointed out on Reddit.

Regardless, filming for “Wentworth” Season 5 has supposedly already started. There has been no sighting so far of Danielle Cormack on the set. Instead, the Kiwi star has been busy touring Cambodia and other parts of the world for charity.

Fans will eventually know if Danielle Cormack is back as Bea Smith when the Foxtel series returns on screen. "Wentworth" Season 5 is expected to air in 2017, though there is no specific date yet.
