September 7, 2016, is the first day that Apple fans can take the latest iPhone 7 home. The phone has a lot of updated features such as water and dust proofing. Its design may look quite familiar with the previous version, iPhone 6s, however, it has evolved in a way that will surely captivate the fans.
Fans Can't Get Enough
Despite just releasing a new unit, iPhone fans cannot contain their excitement for 2018's iPhone 8. Jonathan Ive, the Chief Design Office of Apple, promised to target a design which would make the phone sleeker and slimmer. Several rumors about its design had crawled online and some of which are that the upcoming iPhone will have an OLED display and an all-glass design.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple is testing more than 10 prototypes of iPhone. It also claims that the iPhone might have curved screen, just like Samsung Galaxy 7, and will have greater resolution than the current iPhones 7 and 7 Plus.
A Brand New Feature Worth Waiting
Aside from the fancy, more sophisticated design concept, another thing that keeps fans excited is the rumored 3D camera that iPhone 8 will be equipped. To make this possible, iPhone is set to pair with LG for the upgrade. This has been reported by The Korea Economic Daily. "Since LG Innotek also has its own 3D camera and related technologies, such joint efforts will likely bear fruit sometime within the next year. "Such innovation has a chance to take over since Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, has shown his consistent love for augmented reality.
More iPhone 8 Rumors
Aside from these, iPhone 8 will have more updated surprising features that will set it on top of all its competitors. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, the KGI Securities Analyst, iPhone 8 will include biometric features such as iris scanning or facial recognition.
For now, no confirmation has been released so the best thing to do is wait.
