Fans have been signing online petitions for "Limitless" Season 2, they have been leaving comments in previous GamenGuide articles to show their love for "Limitless" Season 2 and yet it appears that it's just falling on deaf ears. But fans are still not ready to give up on the controversial CBS show.

One fan shared that she is still "stuck in denial" even after knowing the show's final fate. But even though it has been reported numerous times that "Limitless" season 2 is definitely not happening, fans have remained hopeful and wished for the best for their favorite show.
For a show as interesting as "Limitless," fans have been scratching their heads after realizing that "Limitless" was dropped by CBS and other outlets are not interested in picking up "Limitless" Season 2. Two of the outlets that were chosen to hopefully pick up "Limitless" were Netflix and Amazon. Unfortunately, Netflix and Amazon didn't see enough potential from "Limitless" for it to be proceeded to season 2.
The frustrations of the fans are very understandable. "Limitless" left the air without giving any finality to the story. Fans were left hanging and wondering about what has happened to Mora? And do Ike and Rachel get anywhere? Unfortunately, fans will just have to make their own ending as the "Limitless" showrunner himself, Craig Sweeny, has officially announced that it's definitely the end of the line for "Limitless."

When a fan asked the "Limitless" showrunner regarding the cancellation of the show, Craig Sweeny replied with a final update of the show's fate that "Limitless" fans would never want to hear. "Sorry, but yes. 100% gone," the "Limitless showrunner said. Previous reports revealed that Netflix find the storyline of "Limitless" a little too complex that they did not want to gamble.
