MacBook reportedly sports new "UltraFine" monitors from LG. It is said that Apple worked with the South Korean company to create 4K monitors for the upcoming MacBook 2017. It has further been noted that the new monitors may feature four USB-C ports for all inputs and outputs.
In addition, a USB-C port may be used to run power to the 2017 MacBook. Moreover, the port may receive the display signal coming from the MacBook via a single cable, according to report. The company also made sure to add 4K support for faster gaming and image processing on the MacBook.
It should be noted that the Ultrafine 4K Display to come on the MacBook will be a 21.5 inch IPS panel. The monitors may also pack P3 wide color gamut with over 9.4 million pixels, 1080p HP display and 500 cd/m² in brightness. These features are expected to make photo and video editing as well as High-Resolution Videos faster on the MacBook.
It is said that MacBook monitors may be launched this year. Additionally, the MacBook is reportedly set on incorporating both the USB-C and Thunderbolt 3. Hence, the latter's features of single-cable charging, higher video connectivity and retina-class resolutions may also be expected on the MacBook.
In other news, reports claim that the MacBook is only getting 3-6 hours of battery life on a single charge. Note that the MacBook advertisement promised up to 10 hours of battery life. The issue is allegedly connected to the Touch Bar technology on the device, MacRumors reported.
A MacBook user also allegedly claims going from 5 percent battery life to 10 percent in a span of 12 minutes. Gamers on the MacBook also claim an estimate of 3 hours or less on the device. In contrast, a Reddit user also reported working with non-intensive tasks on the MacBook Pro for 10 hours and 35 minutes. Check out the New MacBook here:
