One of the more challenging tasks in a Hollywood spotlight does not only lie from the "pressures " of it. This becomes infinitely more doubled when a couple decides to go under such microscopic scrutiny and despite their years of proving to the world that they indeed have weathered through it all, some relationships just show how fallible and vulnerable they are. Case in point is the latest couple to undergo such surveillance — Chris Pratt and Anna Faris.
Married since 2009, "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt and TV's "Mom" mainstay Anna Faris have always been lauded to be the more enduring couple in an otherwise divorce-infested Hollywood. With both excelling in their comedic platforms and outlooks in life, their relationship has not been a regular fixture of some of the most notorious, cheating rumor mills in the industry.
Not until 2015 when the rumors of Chris Pratt's alleged infidelity with "Passengers'" co-star Jennifer Lawrence has begun surfacing when this seemingly perfect couple has started to show some little cracks of insecurity. Anna Faris, via US Weekly, has shared that the gossip had "stung a little bit harder" than she could have ever imagined.
This year, Anna Faris has opened up yet again about the difficulty of being a public couple with Chris Pratt. She revealed, "We were in the public a little bit, there were some tabloid rumors about strain in our relationship. I just remember feeling so hurt in a way that bothered me, because I didn't want to think of myself as somebody who could be affected by tabloid s--t."
Meanwhile, Anna Faris has shared that the recent rumors and fabricated public perception have pushed her to become "incredibly insecure." Despite her "incredible" relationship with Chris Pratt, Faris has stressed that the most painful part of being speculated can be attributed to other factors. Faris added, "But said that, of course, in this crazy world where he's off doing movies and I'm in L.A. raising our child, of course, I'm going to feel vulnerable, like any normal human would."
