The reigning Queen of Pop, Madonna, has always been known for reinventing herself throughout her decades-spanning career. Interestingly, that could also be said to her often numerous affairs, which have always been a sound bite favorite. Albeit, in contrast, she could be quite the timid one in terms of her marriages, which only fell on two notable celebrities — Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie. And in Hollywood, that is a feat, a shocker that can only be outshined by Madonna herself as she recently re-announced her love for the former.
On Dec. 2, 2016, Madonna has declared her love (again) for Sean Penn, who she married from 1985 to 1989. In a crowd filled with celebrities during a charity gala in which she hosted, Madonna Louise Ciccone, in real life, has shared that she still loves him after all and would marry him, given the right price of course. Madonna, in her colorful words, told everyone that she would remarry Penn only if he bid $150,000. She shared, "I'm still in love with you," right before Penn joined the stage. The Friday night event at Art Basel in Miami has raised more than $7.5 million. The proceeds are to be given to the African nation of Malawi.
Clad in a short, long-sleeved dress, which was adorned with black, gold and silver hues, Madonna has auctioned off tour memorabilia, rare photographs and along with the pieces from her very own art collection. Associated Press has reported that the event catapulted some of the biggest names in Hollywood, which includes Sean, Penn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Bethenny Frankel, James Corden, David Blaine, Courtney Love and even her ex-beau A-Rod.
Meanwhile, Sean Penn has been spotted a day after the Madonna-hosted event in Miami Florida on Dec. 3, 2016. The 56-year old actor was seen at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.
