Ever since Bulgarian-Canadian actress Nina Dobrev left "The Vampire Diaries," fans have been wondering of her whereabouts especially after reports revealed that she already broke up with her boyfriend Austin Stowell. Several thought that the two will make it to the altar but that's all changed now as she may be with someone else now.
Reports said that Nina Dobrev is dating another guy. Although nothing has been confirmed by the actress, she is said to have been spending some quality time with director and actor Mark Kassen who is popular for his roles in films like "Puncture" in 2011 and "Jobs" in 2013. Speculations on their relationship started after the actress posted a photo on her Instagram account.
Kassen was spotted together in the picture with Nina Dobrev during the Thanksgiving holiday celebration with family. It can also be observed that the two are very close to each other. But since neither of them acknowledged their relationship together, reports must be taken with a grain of salt. Perhaps the two are still getting to know each other and are trying to keep things low key.
Also, whenever Nina Dobrev is the subject matter, it cannot be avoided that her ex, Ian Somerhalder, is brought up. Fans have been hoping for a reunion of the two through "The Vampire Diaries" but that will only happen if the CW show decides to bring back Dobrev's character Elena into the final season.
Even before season 8 started, Nina Dobrev has been rumored to make a comeback and bring Elena back to life from the deep sleep. But is she really even returning? Reports said that during the American Music Awards in L.A., the 27-year old "Degrassi" star hinted that she could perhaps return to "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 before it says farewell.
"That's a very very good question, you should ask the producers, you should ask the powers that be above," Nina Dobrev answered with a grin after being asked regarding rumors of Elena's reappearance in the show. Fans are crossing their fingers that she will be back.
