'Let It Die' News & Update: Hack & Slash Game Free on PlayStation 4?

Published by GungHo Online Entertainment for Grasshopper Manufacture, the free-to-play hack and slash video game "Let It Die" became exclusively available on PlayStation 4 on Saturday. The trailer of the game was presented during the PlayStation Experience 2016.

The hack and slash video game "Let It Die" set to take place in 2026 wherein a disastrous trembling of the earth caused Tokyo to separate from Japan and became an island blanketed by fog. Amidst the island is a giant structure called Tower of Barbs. This tower will serve as the game's battleground which can be messy especially with all the death and destruction fighters leave behind their wake.

The fighters are thrown into a post-apocalyptic world of the game with absolutely nothing but a pair of underwear. Polygon says players must fight their way through the game collecting gears, weapons and lots of odd things which seem of no use. But certainly, these items can be beneficial during the hack and slash video game "Let It Die" especially in keeping the players alive a little much longer.

The first major character, Uncle Death, is a Grim Reaper who can be a cool guide during the hack and slash video game "Let It Die." Uncle Death wears a shorter cloak paired with crazy glasses. Instead of carrying an hour glass, he brings along with him a skateboard. Gamasutra states Uncle Death will stick around to provide helpful tips and commentaries about the players' brutal killings. Jukka Hilden is the voice behind Uncle Death's character.

Best known for playing Lilo in Disney's Lilo and Stitch, Daveigh Chase comes back as the voice of Kiwako Seto. Despite being a newbie in Direct Hell, she seems competent at her job and maintains composure despite the death and destruction around her. Austin Powers' Verne Troyer will be the voice of Jackal X, a short-tempered and violent ex-gangster. The voices of Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams and Laraine Newman are also featured in the hack and slash video game "Let It Die."
