With the game at its last set, Karasuno needs that one point to solidify their road to the Nationals. Ushijima isn't making things easy as his strikes are still a handful to deal with. Thankfully, with Tsukishima back in the game, Karasuno has a chance to bag the win for the last set.
In the previous episode, Karasuno is falling back due to Ushijima's intense spikes and serves. In fact, Shiratorizawa's ace has done his team five points before his chain of serves was stopped. With Tsukishima back in the game, it's no surprise that with Karasuno's number 11 back in the game, Ushijima will feel every bit of pressure for the point. "Haikyuu" episode 9 has you on your seats as Karasuno gets back on the points, with the deuce being a good start for the anime. If you haven't noticed, we're actually nearing the end of the third season; this season only has 10 episodes to showcase the intense matchup of Shiratorizawa and Karasuno.
It looks like we missed out on the fact that Kageyama is back on the court. Sugawara helped in getting the team started out while giving Kageyama the much needed rest to be able to get through the pinched half of game 5. It looks like Tsukishima's time from the training camp has really paid off. With the aid of what he learned from Kuroo, Bokuto and Akashi, he's done his best in blocking much of Shiratorizawa's spikes, especially Ushijima's. With the rally for the point getting more and more intense, 'Haikyuu' episode 9 ends up with a cliffhanger leaving us mouth agape and on the edge of our seats.
"Haikyuu!! Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa" airs its last episode next week and by then we will finally know which team gets to go to the finals. Would it be the veteran Shiratorizawa led by Ushijima or will it be the once flightless crows Karasuno? That one point might just win the set, 'Haikyuu' episode 9 gives us the thrill for the next episode.
