There is a spillover from "Final Fantasy XV" Holiday Pack even before developer Square Enix makes it public and it is a practical joke - literally. FFXV players are already expecting a DLC before 2016 ends and they are going to get one.
Unexpectedly, "Final Fantasy XV" is going to feature a cameo role in ludicrous fashion. Its is not someone from previous Final Fantasy iteration that is going to make the holiday funny but no other than Yosuke Matsuda himself. The President and CEO of Square Enix is going to don his rapier and players are going to battle against him.
"Final Fantasy XV" players can see the proof about Matsuda's prowess in a YouTube video where he takes on Noctis. Needless to say, Noctis is no match and was obliterated in just seconds by the man who gave the final nod for "Final Fantasy XV" anyway. After all, what could the matinee idol do against the power-that-be behind Square Enix.
Meanwhile, director Hajime Tabata confirmed that his boss is indeed appearing in "Final Fantasy XV" holiday DLC. He also stressed that it was meant to be a practical joke but serious at the same time because Boss Matsuda is going to be a formidable opposition. Boss Matsuda heads the battle mode for "Final Fantasy XV" December offering.
Ok, gamers need not worry because this "Final Fantasy XV" holiday DLC is for free for all users. Also, there will be New Game and Level Cap aside from Boss Matsuda, Expansive said. There are rumors that Square Enix targets PlayStation 4 Pro and this DLC might coincide for the respective patch but there is no confirmation yet about the matter.
Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy XV" official site did not post any tentative date for release of holiday update yet. The only tangible detail that is available for players as of now is Tabata's statement that it is going to unleash before the end of this month.
