Jeremy Renner is one of the original stars in the "Avengers" superhero film franchise so his place in the Marvel pantheon is more or less secured. But it looks like the Oscar nominee is considering trading his role as Clint Barton/Hawkeye in "Avengers 3" for a more prominent role in "Mission Impossible 6."
According to Comic Book, the conflict in the filming of "Avengers 3" and "Mission Impossible 6" may result in Renner in sitting out in one of the two movies. As of now, film pundits are expecting him to drop out of "Mission Impossible 6" instead. But it looks like the former "Hurt Locker" actor is more inclined to leave "Avengers 3" as he believes the superhero movie already has too many stars.
In other "Avengers 3" news, directors Joe and Anthony Russo have teased fans via Entertainment Weekly that the two upcoming "Avengers" movies will be presenting some new developments for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Could this perhaps mean that a lot of the members of the Avengers will die and one of them will be Clint? We will have to wait and see.
You can watch "Avengers 3" when it comes out in North American theaters on Friday, May 4, 2018 while "Mission Impossible 6" will be released in a still undisclosed date in summer 2018. You can watch Jeremy Renner in the Oscar contender and science fiction movie "Arrival" with Amy Adams.
