Developer Electronic Arts has been faithful in continuously adding content to "Plant vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2" since it came out and it appears that it has no plans of slowing down. The company announced that the latest update, titled "Frontline Fighters," will be rolling out anytime now to the delight of its players.
'Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2': New Characters, New Maps, Modes Added
This upcoming update on "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" comes with just about everything from characters, maps and tweaks. However, the most visible addition would be the added ability to play online multiplayer in split-screen mode, which players have actually been requesting for some time already.
PlayStation Lifestyle reports that Electronic Arts introduced the fifth major update to "Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" on its website. EA described this update called "Frontline Fighters" as a "fun, all-new way to play the craziest shooter in the galaxy."
Through the new split-screen online multiplayer feature, players can now be joined by a friend or family member. "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" will have 14 game modes and 17 colossal multiplayer maps.
This latest "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" update to the multiplayer shooter also introduces a new map named "Frontline Flats," two new characters and two new legendary characters. On top of all that, the update introduces over 2,000 customization items and eight character variants for all players to enjoy.
Christmas-themed 'Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2' Rolling Out Soon
Just when they released a massive update, that is not all to it that Electronic Arts has to bring players of "Plants v. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2." Game Reactor reports that it looks like the developer will be welcoming the holidays with something big, as they will be releasing a DLC pack called the "Festive Edition."
This Christmas-themed DLC includes two new legendary characters, one customization pack that is Christmas-themed and 200,000 PvZ Coins to spend on the game. This digital-only release will be available for a limited time only and will cost £7.99 (approx. $10) and can be downloaded on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.
