'NBA 2K17' Latest News & Updates: 2K Sports Jacks Up Jimmy Butler Rating, Draymond Green Declines, Details Here!

"NBA 2K17" has applied some roster updates on several NBA players, adjusting the rating of players like Jimmy Butler, Anthony Davis, Joel Embiid, Draymond Green and Tony Parker among others. The adjustments in ratings were done in accordance with their performance so far in the NBA 2016-17 NBA season.

Two players saw their "NBA 2K17" player ratings reach 90 or more – Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans and Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls. Davis got a +3 and is now ranked 94 while Butler got a +2 to reach a 90 overall ranking with their respective performance thus far justifying the changes.

Other players who got a boost include on "NBA 2K17" are Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers with a +3 and is no 83 overall while Tarik Black of the Los Angeles Lakers got a +5 to improve to 75. While these NBA players seem to be doing fine, there were names that saw a dip in overall ranking.

Leading the list for "NBA 2K17" is Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors who got a -2, dropping out of the 90 club with an 88. Tony Parker of the San Antonio Spurs, bugged by injuries once more, got a-3 and dropped to a 77 overall ranking.

Sophomore Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves lost a point and is now 87 overall. While it may not be much, many felt that the big man got a bit too much in terms of "NBA 2K17" starting rank (88 overall) and his team’s spiral is seen as one reason why he lost a hardly noticeable point, Operation Sports reported.

The latest round of "NBA 2K17" player ranking adjustment follows patch 1.06 which was released to address player animations and other PS4 issues as mentioned in a previous post. More player adjustments are expected to come as the NBA 2016-17 Season progresses.
