Fans of "The Voice" season 11 are still waiting to see who will win this season's show. The top 8 of the semifinals had been revealed and Billy Gilman even gave a soaring performance in the recent episode.
In a report from Billboard, "The Voice" season 11 had a double-elimination night in its recent episode. Two singers needed to be go home during a live results show. Of course, the four coaches, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus were all hoping to keep their singers on the boat.
The report stated that the show started with a duet performance from Jennifer Nettles and Dolly Parton together with the show's top 10 contestants. Jane Lynch also made a guest appearance on the episode and performed a singing game with the four coaches. Then, the results were revealed.
First to be saved by America was from Shelton's team, Sundance Head. A commercial break was then placed and Carson Daly revealed the second singer to be saved. Daly announced that Christian Cuevas from Keys' team had been saved by America.
Cuevas even shared her feelings about the recent performance saying that, “It brought me back to the Blind Audition." Ali Caldwell also advanced to the semifinals together with Billy Gilman from Team Levine. We McDonald also joined the top 8 artist, which means that Keys' team are all advancing to the next round.
Before Daly announced the next singer to join the semifinals, Cyrus performed with Parton for a duet of "Jolene."
Then, Daly announced that Josh Gallagher will be moving on, which means that Austin Allsup, Aaron Gibson and Courtney Harrell will have to perform for an instant save. Gibson was the one who got saved which means the other two artists were sent home.
