The Windows 10 may be way behind the iOS and the Android in worldwide usage among mobile phone users but it has not definitely given up. The Alcatel 4S is the latest effort of the world's former biggest corporation to catch up to Apple and Google's products.
It can be recalled that the release of Windows 10 was a much-awaited win for the Redmond, Washington corporation after Windows 8 did not catch on as much as they liked. According to CNet, Windows 10 will be the second OS in the platform that can power a "web of devices" and with the release of the Alcatel Idol 4S, people are banking on the many Windows 10-powered phones that will be coming out in the near future to make a big impression in the market.
In other Windows 10 news, The Verge has reported that a new feature for Windows 10 is being developed by Microsoft. During the Creators Update for Windows 10, the tech giant announced several new features that will be included in future updates for the OS version. A new test version has shown that a virtual trackpad will be incorporated into Windows 10 in an update scheduled for download early next year.
The Alcatel Idol 4S running on Windows 10 is available worldwide for at least $469. Microsoft, on the other hand, has not announced when the new virtual trackpad will become available for Windows 10 users. Should there be any more new updates on the Alcatel Idol 4S and Windows 10, GameNGuide will be posting more about it in the next few months.
