Justice Smith has joined the cast of "Jurassic World 2". Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are going to reprise their roles. Smith will be playing a young scientist in the film. The "Jurassic World" sequel will go on floor in March 2017.
Recently, Justice Smith was seen in the Netflix musical drama series "The Get Down". The story followed a group of teens in 1970s Bronx. Smith also acted in two episodes of "The Thundermans" which is a Nickelodeon's superhero comedy series. The 21-year-old actor had a supporting role in the comedy-drama "Paper Towns", as per Comic Book. Smith will act with Lucas Hedges in the off-Broadway play Yen, before joining the "Jurassic World 2" team.
Justice Smith will join Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) as the story further develops, creating new challenges in "Jurassic World 2". Fans are excited to see whether the dinosaurs go beyond the Island.
Justice Smith of Baz Lurhmann's The Get Down is the latest to join the "Jurassic World 2" cast, sources confirmed to Variety. Toby Jones and Rafe Spall have also joined the cast of the film recently. "A Monster Calls" famed J.A Bayona will direct the "Jurassic World" sequel. Frank Marshall, Belén Atienza and Pat Crowley are the producers. Derek Connolly and "Jurassic World" director Colin Trevorrow have scripted the sequel. Steven Spielberg will join Colin Trevorrow as executive producer. Pre-production of the film is going on in full swing and it will be shot in Hawaii and UK.
"Jurassic World" became one of the biggest blockbusters in the history of cinema in 2015 with more than $1.67 billion in box office worldwide. "Jurassic Park" was a sequel to 1993 mega hit "Jurassic Park". It was based on the Michael Crichton novel, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
