"The 100" Season 4 may bid goodbye to Bellamy first when the show returns to The CW on Feb. 1, 2017. Series creator Jason Rothenberg hinted that Bellamy does not survive for long, amid the threat of the nuclear apocalypse.
It is the survival of the fittest and the righteous when "The 100" Season 4 returns onscreen. Among the remaining Grounders, Bellamy is the least likely to live long, according to Rothenberg. Bellamy may be strong but the people's faith on him is not.
Despite his physical strength and leadership qualities, Bellamy does not deserve to be among the righteous who survives in "The 100" Season 4. This is because he has proven himself as untrustworthy in Season 3. Bellamy did horrible acts in the past season and his actions ultimately pushed the Grounders away.
Jason Rothenberg believes that of all the surviving Grounders in "The 100" Season 4, Bellamy dies first. He will be the first to go when humanity decides who lives and dies. Naturally, the people have to divide the food rations accordingly to the remaining Grounders.
However, they are likely to betray one of their own when their survival is at stake. This is where they may have to sacrifice Bellamy, following his actions in Season 3. The people may not be too forgiving of his mistakes. Rothenberg said that Bellamy may not get his redemption in "The 100" Season 4.
"Bellamy doesn't think he deserves to make it through all of this," Jason Rothenberg said as quoted by Outer Places.
Suffice to say, that fans should not expect to see Bellamy and Clarke end up together in "The 100" Season 4. If Bellamy dies then it would just be another heartache for Clarke if they do become romantically involved. Nevertheless, Jason Rothenberg assured that Clarke does not get into another relationship anytime soon, even though she has moved on from Lexa's death.
