The former Black Eyed Peas female lead is ready to launch her much anticipated new album "Double Dutchess" early next year. The multi-awarded Grammy Award singer and songwriter hasn't released a solo album since her phenomenal hit "The Dutchess" in 2006.
Fergie even made an apology to fans for taking so long with this project. "I'm sorry it's taken so long, to those of you who have been waiting, I just got a kid and a husband and I need sleep and I just really cared about it," she said.

Fergie was asked in an interview, why there has been so much delay with the upcoming record "Double Dutchess," to which she answered that she is not rushing because she's busy perfecting the finishing touches. She also revealed that fans can anticipate a little bit of everything on the brand-new album: "I've put blood, sweat, and tears into this and there's personal stuff, pop stuff, hip-hop stuff, throwback stuff... some reggae, ballads, fun, silly, all of the above," cited ET Canada.
Lingerie-Clad Famous Mothers In "Hungry's" Music Video
After two years of hiatus from her solo career, "Hungry (1st Byte]" was released on June 9 with an accompanying music video. Last July 1, the American singer released her new single, "M.I.L.F. $." Fergie was moved to write the song after the birth of her son, Axl.
The music video was conceptualized by Fergie and features a gang of famous mothers, including; Ciara, Chrissy Teigen, Gemma Ward, Alessandra Ambrosio and Kim Kardashian West. Also included are hot mommas Tara Lynn, Devon Aoki, Isabeli Fontana, Angela Lindvall, Amber Valletta, and Natasha Poly as lingerie-clad 1950s ladies of the house.
On November 16, Fergalicious released the second single from "Double Dutchess", "Life Goes On" which became an instant viral sensation, gaining over 68 million views. No word yet on an album title or an exact release date, but Fergie just released "Life Goes On" as a follow up single to her summer jam, "M.I.L.F. $" "It's done and it will be out in the beginning of the year," she promised, reports XPOSé.ie.
