Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe Dating: 'Outlander' Season 3 Stars Taking Relationship To The Next Level? Wedding Bells Soon?
The Scottish Sun reports that Sam Heughan did spend a lot of money for Caitriona Balfe's dress. While the news may sound intriguing, the "First Light" actor's effort has nothing to do with their relationship status.
As it turns out, Sam Heughan bids for the "Outlander" Season 3 actress' dress for a good cause. The said dress was worn by Caitriona Balfe during the BAFTA Scotland awards where the 37-year-old Irish actress and model won the best actress in television.
Caitriona Balfe donated the dress to World Child Cancer which was then sent for auction and the "Outlander" Season 3 actor took this as an opportunity to help out. Sam Heughan bids £1,700 ($2,115.00 approx.) for his leading lady's dress and even joked to check his measurements if the dress will fit him perfectly.

For now, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe chose not to address any rumors about their status. It seems that the "Outlander" Season 3 stars are leaving the fans to speculate about the standing of their relationship.
