Two weeks ago during Conan O'Brien's Clueless Gamer, it was said that in "Final Fanasy XV" we would have a boss who would take 72 real hours to be defeated. The game was released yesterday and of course someone has already defeated this boss, but the curious fact is that it takes far less than the 3 days promised to be defeated. PowerPyx managed to defeat the boss in question in "only" 50 minutes.
The boss in question is Adamantoise, one of the colossal bosses that can be dealt with after zeroing the "Final Fantasy XV" game. The monster is an immense tortoise that carries a mountain on its back. In the video, the player is level 69 with multiple buffs and maximized combo attacks. Unless you stay AFK for 71 hours, I do not think there's any way this fight will take that long.
"Final Fantasy XV" was originally announced as Final Fantasy Versus XIII at E3 2006, exactly 10 years ago. It was re-submitted in 2013 and will finally be released later this year. It uses real time combat, running away from the turn-based system that the franchise usually has. "Final Fantasy XV" is available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
