As Season 7 meet its end following the major deaths of the series fan favorite characters, Glenn and Abraham, "The Walking Dead" Season 8 seems way more difficult to handle as hints pointing to the death of another major character lead.
Fans are already starting to speculate that "The Walking Dead" Season 8 will not be the same as any other previous episodes of the series as Rick Grimes and the gang slowly fade out and die one by one.
Theories claimed that in "The Walking Dead" Season 8, one major character death will surely change everything including the remaining characters' lives in the series. After the death of Glenn and Abraham, the next target will be Daryl.
Daryl Dixon's fate in Season 7 has already been predicted, he will stay safe as well as well Rick Grimes as the actors portraying the fictional characters namely Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln re-signed their contract for another season.
However, though Reedus already sealed his contract for "The Walking Dead" Season 8, major hints from fan theories points out that it will be Daryl's last moment with Rick and the gang. He will be killed off and will be replaced by Negan as the badass TWD character.
Daryl's fate has always been one of the most talked about storylines ever since he appeared in the zombie apocalypse series and until now and in the upcoming "The Walking Dead" Season 8, fans are convinced that he will not end up alive even before the network officially ends the show.
One major speculation on why Daryl could end up dead is Reedus' description about his character.
In Digital Spy report, Reedus said, "[He] is a strong-willed animal" and will never bow down to serve Negan who killed his friends, Glenn and Abraham.
In Reedus' notes, it seems like Daryl will take revenge on what happened to his pals in "The Walking Dead" Season 8 and this could only mean one thing, his life is in danger not only because of the Walkers but because of Negan and his gang.
Moreover, the site also revealed that Daryl's aim is to kill Negan as well as Dwight.
On the other hand, James Dean Morgan, who plays the role of Negan, also renewed his contract for "The Walking Dead" Season 8. This only means that Rick, Daryl, and Negan's characters will clash once again and brutal deaths are still not done between the gangs and these three characters.
Meanwhile, if Morgan re-signed his contract, meaning, Negan will still be lurking around "The Walking Dead" Season 8 as Daryl's death prediction circulate the web. Some even think that if the upcoming season will be Reedus' final appearance, Negan might take over his badass character's tagline and replace him as the new version of Daryl in a villain's way.
