The American horror-comedy "Ash vs. Evil Dead" is just gaining ground on television. It's even stated at Forbes that this show has generated big in the live ratings, with 337,000 viewers hooked by it. And the rating of last week's episode is no doubt higher, with seven thousand more spectators on TV screens. But, contributor Merrill Barr has reservations, as to this show will maintain its good flow, or will it be like high to low run of ratings.
But hey, here's what a co-star from "Ash vs. Evil Dead" has to say about his experience in stepping into the spotlight as Ash William's dad, Brock. Lee Majors is obviously no longer new to the industry. In fact, A.V. Club viewed him as an actor almost making a brilliant spot in Hollywood, after appearing on some of his known shows starting from the sixties up to the recent like The Six Million Dollar Man and The Fall Guy.
In the interview of said press to him, at first, he was hesitant of accepting the offer of co-starring in the horror-comedy series, for being used to family-oriented shows. So, he shared that he watched last year's episodes and admitted that it gave him so much fun. That pushed him to clutch the opportunity.
Also, he praised the lead star Bruce Campbell, "Ash Williams" for the versatility of acting. Aside from that, Majors further commented that being in a comedy show requires a lot of craft, like being witty in doing funny things to cover-up bloody scenes.
Now there's a lot to watch out for the show's upcoming episode this 4th of December. According to Bloody Disgusting, Ash will head back to his cabin; the particular moment in The Evil Dead where he victoriously survived. Surely, more viewers want more than just comedy.
