The upcoming episode of “NCIS” Season 14 will feature the team being called to investigate a case involving a politician. Also in the episode titled “Pay to Play”, Bishop (Emily Wickersham) will finally reveal the identity of her secret boyfriend.
According to the official synopsis of the “NCIS” Season 14 episode by The Futon Critic, Congresswoman Jenna Flemming (Mary Stuart Masterson) continues to receive a series of escalating threats. She taps the NCIS team to investigate. In the meantime, Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) provides a temporary protection detail for her.
After the build-up from last week’s episode of “NCIS” Season 14, the identity of Bishop’s secret boyfriend will be revealed. He is none other than Qasim Naasir (Rafi Silver), a character who was first introduced in Season 12 and who it seems will be seen by viewers in more episodes as the season moves on.
In her TV Guide interview, Wickersham confirmed that there will be more of the Bishop and Qasim relationship in the next few episodes of “NCIS” Season 14. More details regarding their relationship will be revealed but typical of the show, the viewers will not learn much but they will definitely get a little window of it according to the actress.
Wickersham also mentioned how the show’s longtime showrunner Gary Glasberg’s sudden death was such a huge shock to everyone in the show since he is well loved. She admitted that they are still mourning for Glasberg’s passing but there is nothing that can be done now except to move forward.
Several months after Glassberg’s passing, CBS announced that he was being replaced by original “NCIS” producers George Schenck and Frank Cardea. All new episodes of “NCIS” Season 14 air Tuesday nights on CBS.
