Creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland confirmed that the series' plot and synopsis does not invest more time on Rick's escape from the Federal Galactic prison. Instead returning "Rick and Morty's" centers on their lives returning to normal. Vin Diesel's guesting was not yet confirmed, while voice actors includes the creators and other mainstay voice stars.
The upcoming "Rick and Morty" Season 3 catches where the previous season ended, during Rick has been caught by the government. GamenGuide reported that mad scientist Rick was held captive in Intergalactic Federation Prison and he is going to escape through the help of Morty, Summer or maybe his wife Mrs. Sanchez.
Creators Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon has been making adjustments for Rick's escape. Harmon added he dreamt of having Vin Diesel on board to voice as one of the prison guards in the alien prison where Rick has been incarcerated. However, this remains unconfirmed yet.

Meanwhile, Chatt Sports Net relayed that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 contains controversial content which made the creators disclosed minor changes required by Broadcast Standards and Practices on the series. Creators also added minor alterations to the series, turning brains from pink to green to add more creativity to the series.

Violence is another controversies the creator has been facing right now. Roiland immediately debunked the issue changing it to "sex stuff," which gives sensitivity to the series. These are the part that make the series hard to produce, according to Roiland.
According to the creators "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is reportedly adjusting its timeline release for 2017. The delayed released has blamed based on animation concerns.
