It is becoming a practice in the gaming industry to provide free add-ons in AAA titles like "Titanfall 2" as developer Respawn implements the trend. Another developer, Ubisoft have earlier given free DLC with options to purchase blings for their "Rainbow Six" franchise.
Come November 30th, Respawn will unleash its first free content pack for "Titanfall 2" dubbed, Angel City's Most Wanted. Similar to Ubisoft concept, "Titanfall 2" gives away free maps, weapons and titan kits at no cost. However, they will be charging a fee for additional skins and extra gameplay Engadget said.
Again, it is noteworthy how developers think nowadays. "Titanfall 2" will feature a totally free DLC and purchase-only cosmetics. Being so, these extra skins will never affect the gameplay in anyway - purely bling bling and cosmetics. Those who want just the update don't have to scrub their pocket but those who want good-looking Titan can purchase the skin.
Apart from "Titanfall 2" update by end of the month, there will be other surprises before the year closes. Look for few twists and unearth some secrets in game modes because Respawn promised periodic changes. Further, a special event will be held to award those top performing "Titanfall 2" teams.
Now here is a bit of thought, "Titanfall 2" predecessor suffered heavy setback in its lifetime due to number of players dropping midway. Part of the reason can be traced from costly DLCs and updates that came along the way. Respawn seems to have learned their lesson and is bent on keeping the current "Titanfall 2" followers. The developer also said that 2017 will see constant addendums for the game with no cost at all, Cinema Blend said.
So, are you ready to make a "Titanfall 2" strategy plan after the first DLC was assured? This pack will feature multiplayer maps too so keep your team rallying behind you. Who knows if you will be the one to receive a recognition we have mentioned earlier.
