Even though the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has featured a lot of new and exciting Alolan Pokemon, a Pokemon game is not the same without the very first classic starter Pokemon, Charmander, Bulbasaur and Squirtle. By obtaining these iconic Pokemon it will enable you to help complete your Alonan Pokedex.
If you own a previous Pokemon game it would be easy for you to transfer generation one Pokemon to the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" by using Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter, according to Attack of The Fanboy. The Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter are used as a "cloud based Pokemon storage system" that could transfer a Pokemon from different previous games.
The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players can transfer a Pokemon from Pokemon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 up until the Pokemon X and Y game by using the Pokemon storage system. The Pokemon Bank is also available in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire as well as virtual consoles, Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow.
However, it is still not possible to complete your Alonan National Pokedex because the Pokemon Bank is not yet available in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" as of now. There will be updates released by Nintendo in January 2017 to allow the Pokemon Bank to be fully functional.
Another method in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is using the new QR scanning feature in obtaining data in your Alonan Pokedex for the generation one starter Pokemon. Players can unlock the Island Scan by scanning QR codes which are available in Imgur Reddit.
The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players can scan the QR codes of Charmander, Squirle and Bulbasaur that can locate the areas where these Pokemon are in the Alolan Region. The players can only scan up to 10 Pokemon per day and can be a big help in filling up the Alonan Pokedex.
