Nick Cannon's ex-wife, Mariah Carey has recently opened up about her split with supposed to be new husband, James Packer. The phenomenal singer had been engaged to Packer for quite a while, but now the two had split.
In a report from PEOPLE.com, Nick Cannon's ex-wife, Mariah Carey appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last Wednesday. The We Belong Together singer opened up about her breakup with James Packer. She discussed their split to DeGeneres, while they discuss her upcoming TV series.
"Everything happens for a reason," the Don't Forget About Us singer revealed. "Things are the way they are."
Carrey then continued, "It is kind of difficult to talk about it at the moment. So I am just going to compliment you on these decorations once again because they are fabulous and I am here..."
The 46-year-old phenomenal singer's was supposed to get married to Packer, but the two had recently announced their decision to part ways. Her show will also be including Packer in it, although he reportedly does not want to be a part of it.
Clips from the show also includes Carrey trying out wedding dresses, but apparently, their relationship has casted a cloud over her upcoming series. Carrey even said that the show will be a new thing for her.
The Stay In Love singer admitted that she is doing well after their split. The two met in Aspen, Colorado back in 2014. They were introduced by a common friend named, Brett Ratner during the premiere of Hercules.
Their relationship was made known back in June 2015 and made their relationship red carpet official during The Intern premiere, which was held a few months later. On January 21, the billionaire proposed to Carrey while they stayed in New York.
Mariah Carey was married to Nick Cannon but then they got divorced. The two have not reunited, although they allegedly spent the Thanksgiving day together with their kids.
