Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez has returned to the music industry, as she opened up about her emotional speech during the recent American Music Awards. Gomez opened up about her struggles in life during the Thanksgiving day.
In a report from Us Weekly, the ex-girlfriend of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez attended the recent American Music Awards were she gave an emotional speech. Gomez inspired many people including music artists like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande when she stated that people need to show what is in their hearts.
"I am so grateful to be able to share what I love with people that I love," Gomez said during her acceptance speech. "You guys are so damn loyal but if you are broken you do not have to stay broken."
Gomez has taken a sudden hiatus when she suffered from depression and anxiety due to her illness, Lupus. The singer-actress had to cancel her concert tours, as she needed a break so she would be able to rest.
The Hands To Myself singer also opened up on her social media account during the Thanksgiving day. Gomez said she has a lot to thank for in her life.
"I have a lot to be thankful for this year,"Gomez wrote on Instagram. "My year has been the hardest yet most rewarding one yet. I have finally fought the fight of not 'being enough.' I have only wanted to reflect the love you guys have given me for years and show how important it is to take care of YOU. By grace through faith. Kindness always wins. I love you guys. God bless."
Gomez checked in a rehab to get help from overcoming her depression, panic attacks and anxiety. She stayed away from social media and even from the public eye for a couple of months after canceling her upcoming Revival tour dates back in August.
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are not back together. The two have split for some years now. Gomez even sang a song for him called, "The Heart Want What It Wants," which also became a hit song.
