A new trailer for “Bones” Season 12 has been released and based on it, fans are in for an emotional moments that will surely tug at their heartstrings for the show’s final season. The 40-second trailer shows Booth (David Boreanaz) longing for Brennan (Emily Deschanel) to come back to him.
Back in last season’s finale, Brennan was abducted by Zack (Eric Millegan). In the “Bones” Season 12 extended promo, Booth says that someone took Brennan and will kill her. But, he soon declares that he is going to get his family back.
It appears that Booth is convinced that Zack is The Puppeteer and is responsible for Brennan’s kidnapping. But, it may simply be a case of bad timing on Zack’s part. The “Bones” Season 12 trailer is also said to have put together several past scenes from the series that will surely make fans feel nostalgic and a perfect way to cap the long running crime procedural drama.
Aside from these, a “Bones” Season 12 press release also teases the return of former guest stars whose characters they played have become the favorite of fans reports Eonline. They include Betty White who portrayed Beth Mayer, Stephen Fry as Gordon Wyatt and Eddie McClintock as Sully. It also teased that one team member’s old flame from the past will be coming back.
“Bones” Season 12 spoilers also tease that one couple will be getting married. Fans believe the couple to be Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Aristoo (Pej Vahdat). The spoilers, however, also indicate that Booth and Brennan’s marriage will be severely tested according to TVLine.
The last 12 weeks of the beloved “Bones” Season 12 is being said to be a final round of gory murders. In one of them, the team will go undercover in a lumberjack competition. But, there are no other details for the episode yet.
The Fox network’s president for entertainment David Madden said in a press release that the final 12 episodes of “Bones” Season 12 will wrap up storylines. The fans will be able to bid farewell to the characters who he said have become part of the pop culture fabric. The farewell season will premiere on January 3, Tuesday, on Fox.
