“Destiny” is a highly successful MMO, which combines the genres of RPG and FPS into an interesting shooter, which can keep you in front of the screen until cobwebs start growing on you. The fast paced action, together with the constant development in story makes for a specifically interesting experience.
Gamer Rant has shared some information on the planned additional content coming to the game.
At the moment, the game is in a dry place without much new content to entertain them.
At best, people are grinding levels to reach the cap of 400 light levels so they can be prepared for the coming content. On official statement by Bungie has confirmed that Sparrow Racing League will return to the game in December. Another interesting addition coming towards the fans of the game is an expansion called “The Winter”.
Gamespot shares a statement by Activision, claiming that soon fans will be able to get their hands on the second full game of the series. During the year of 2017, “Destiny 2” will be released.
The work on the game has been one of the reasons for the lack of content on the main game, since a big part of Bungie has been assigned to the project.
When asked about additional information, Activision has announced that they are happy to work together with Bungie and they look forward to continuing their 10 year relationship.
There have been a lot of theories floating through Bungie’s official forum. The most popular among them is that Activision has been searching for a smarter way to deliver new content into the game. One which does not require purchase, since every paid expansion equals a wall separating the game base. To get around the problem, they may test out micro transactions in the game, where players will be able to buy emotes or other cosmetic content, without bringing a Pay-To-Win aspect to the game. Still, the rumor is unproven, but it will be good to see some free steady content coming to the game.
