On Monday, Kanye West canceled all the remaining 21 stops of his Pablo US tour. Hours later, he was hospitalized for stress and exhaustion at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, as per The Washington Post. West was reportedly handcuffed in an ambulance Friends of the rapper immediately showed their support for him once news broke out.
This is just the latest in a series of events on West behaving erratically in his recent concerts, such as his public breakdowns attacking Beyoncé and Jay-Z in the Sacramento stop of the Pablo US tour. West even went so far as accusing Jay-Z of sending killers after him. He will lose an estimated $10M after canceling all 21 concerts, but he's covered by insurance as per TMZ.
In the meantime, Kim Kardashian remains close to his side. Kim reportedly flew immediately right away to LA once she learned of what happened. A source close to the couple have said that Kanye is doing much better while in recovery, as per ET. "He just needed some rest," the source says about the rapper.
But it looks like Kanye West's recent medical emergency is far from over. Sources close to the 'Pablo' rapper have said that he is expected to stay until the weekend, as per TMZ. Some family members wanted him to come home for Thanksgiving, but his recent condition doesn't allow him to check out soon. His doctors informed the police that West suffered from temporary psychosis brought about by extreme dehydration and sleep deprivation, but it looks like his psychological problems are deeper than that, as per TMZ.
