A 2016 American 3D computer-animated musical fantasy adventure film which was produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and was released by Walt Disney Pictures on November 23, 2016, "Moana" made $2.6 Million from Tuesday paid reviews which began at 7 p.m., and said to be the highest for a Walt Disney Animation Studios film and for a non-Pixar Disney animated release.
"Moana" is a story about a young woman who uses her navigational talent to set sail for a fabled island. The film, Moana also included demi-gods and spirits taken from real mythology.

According to Deadline, it will beat Frozen's $15.1M opening day and beat the best Wednesday start for a Disney animated feature if the Disney's Moana stays in line until early AM. Additionally, industry projections stated the Pacific island princess movie is also riding an a CinemaScore wave that could literally hit $90 Million in five days. "Moana," directed by Ron Clements and John Musker playing in 3, 875 theaters and 80 percent of it was screen in 3D. "Moana" is also considered as Clements and Musker's first fully computer-animated film.

The "Moana" film got positive reviews, in Rotten Tomatoes, many critics commented that the film achieves what the best Disney animated features do, it recovers the spirit of Disney's unforgettable classic films and has a magical aspect to modern technology.
