Selena Gomez took a break from the limelight and now she is back. Gomez took the break to concentrate on her health in the middle of her Revival World Tour. The singer in her first interview after rehab disclosed a bizarre secret about her newfound health.
The "Hands to Myself" singer went to rehab to treat her mental health. Gomez who is back with a bang gave an interview to the Elle Magazine where she revealed what exactly she was doing to feel healthier. In the interview, she disclosed a very unconventional way to stay fit.
Selena Gomez revealed that she is horrible at maintaining a workout routine. So, she is working out with her trainer Amy Rosoff Davis for a year now. She wanted to maintain the same during her tour and wanted to stay fit for her fans. Davis was with Gomez during most of her revival tour. According to Gomez Amy is the only person who can push her to workout. The singer further revealed that they would do hike and they also had a Pilate machine.
However, the most unconventional workout Selena Gomez mentioned was a sweat bed where she would wrap herself up for around 45 minutes. "You lay in these beds in a sweat suit, and they wrap you up and you sweat for 45 minutes and it releases all the toxins of your body," Gomez said. Although the idea sounds gross, it's a matter of an hour, she added. The singer also advised not to shower immediately after the workout as there is natural collagen in the toxin released by the body which makes the skin feel softer before taking a shower. Gomez also claimed that those 45 minutes on the sweat bed has not only changed her skin but also her body and the feeling is really good.
Gomez made her first public appearance after her rehab at American Music Awards 2016, according to reports. At AMA Selena Gomez thanked her fans for their support and said that she wanted to see their "hearts" more than their "bodies".
