As the upcoming "Grim Dawn" 1.0.0.7 update is on the way, its developer Crate Entertainment revealed more info about The Fall of Port Valbury. This is an Aetherial-themed roguelike dungeon that will be added in a free December update.
In the Grimdawn Forum, it reveals what exactly happened at Port Valbury in "Grim Dawn". The port was a prosperous city with a booming port and trade network. Later on, the city has suffered greatly under the influence of the Aetherial. Their agents had begun working on undermining the population, thus, putting the city into chaos.
It turns out Van Aldritch has shed off his human form and embraces the "tainted nature of the Aether itself." It also means Port Valbury has been ruled by a superhuman entity in "Grim Dawn".
The "Grim Dawn" update will be free for owners of the base game. The Fall of Port Valbury is due mid-December, according to PC Gamer. "Grim Dawn" is now available for £18.99/$20.99 via The Humble Store.
Currently, "Grim Dawn" along with "Volume" and "Infinifactory" are on sale in latest Humble Bundle. Some portion of the sales of Humble Bundle will benefit the chosen charity of Humble.
The Humble sale includes stealth puzzler "Volume", an open-ended programming game TIS-100, and retro-inspired first person dungeon crawler "The Legend of Grimrock 2." Stay tuned here in Gamenguide for more "Grim Dawn" news and updates.
