'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim' Latest News & Update: Bethesda Boss Confirms 'Skyrim' Support for Nintendo Switch

Here is another affirmation that "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is going to be with Nintendo Switch soon - Bethesda executive Todd Howard adds to those announcing the marriage. Much more, Howard confirmed that he played Nintendo Switch during previous E3 and he is very happy with the experience.

Howard said that "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" could be a good fit for Nintendo Switch after he has seen what this console can do. He also called Nintendo's demo device as the best he ever played in any E3 event, Glixel report said. He further clarified that "Skyrim" could run on dual-accessibility that Switch offers. Meaning, Howard thinks that it can seamlessly play on both TV and tablet-like monitor of Switch.

"The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is Bethesda's staple over the years so it makes sense to attempt resurgence through Nintendo Switch. After all, the remastered version for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sells like pancake after a month of re-issue. In fact, Skyrim have already sold over 30 million copies since five years ago.

To recall, "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" showed in Nintendo Switch reveal trailer as a teaser game but it seems that this is going to be a reality soon, GameSpot commented. Apart from Howard, other Bethesda boss have confirmed in the past that they are moving at least 10 partners into Switch console. This could be the first time for Bethesda to ride with Nintendo but everyone seems excited about the idea.

Meanwhile, Howard also addressed the question if "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" could capitalize on Nintendo Switch's play-on-the-go nature. He said that should Bethesda finally seal the deal, the same game is going to run on TV and mobile display.

To wrap thing up, Howard commented on the much anticipated successor of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim." The sixth installment isn't there yet but Howard assured that if the day finally comes, it is going to live up to gamers' expectations.
