TV Line shares that in the newest episode of “Madam Secretary” Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) has got a surprise visit by her brother Will (Eric Stoltz). He has finally managed to settle down, by getting a job at Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland and he will also manage to get some help with his struggling marriage. Then, an earthquake strikes Venezuela. Will is left to wonder if his desire to help others is still worth the heavy labor and terrible conditions of his work.
This is not the only problem to come out of the earthquake’s aftermath. Two Paragraphs reports that Elizabeth will found herself in a pretty tight spot, as the Venezuelan president and his vice president have died in the earthquake.
Then a powerful son manages to arrange a power grab, where in the process he arrests a group of international humanitarian aiders. This is not something that can just pass through Elizabeth without a reaction and viewers got to see how she deals with this problem, together with the internal struggles it brings about in her.
There has been a lot of turmoil and drama in the internal and external relations of the McCord family. There was the eavesdropping scandal, the decision of Henry (Tim Daly) to run as an independent candidate and the struggles of getting some funding for his campaign.
Someone would think that writers could give them a day off, but TV Grapevine breaks the expectations of fans, as the Venezuelan earthquake forced Will into another choice of helping others, or stabilizing his personal life and his marriage. He decided to go, which will also be hurtful to Elizabeth, who so rarely gets to see her brother.
“Madam Secretary” Season 3 Episode 8 will air on 27 November on CBS.
