Jimmy Fallon just became the latest trend on the internet; the host of "The Tonight Show" gave a unique challenge to some of NASCAR's best drivers to a game of Mario Kart. Ahead of today's final Sprint Cup race of the season, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Kyle Busch and Joey Logano went head-to-head to see who would face the Fallon in a attempt to dethrone the late night comedian. The show was however not one of the best versions of Mario Karting, still managed to grab eyeballs.
This is not the very first time show's host Jimmy Fallon has put Nintendo's racing series as a major highlight of his show. We in-fact know that the former SNL star is obsessed with it, certainly with Mario Kart for the Wii U. He lately found something really interesting about that fashion writer and actress Tavi Gevinson, as she is a die-hard lover of Mario Kart. Meanwhile, Fallon also talks about losing at Mario Kart8 to Michael Cera after throwing his game off by choosing Yoshi when he usually mains Bowser.
Fallon does not like to be beat. Video Games has remained one of the most important obsessions of Fallon. He is usually seen playing commercials for them as demos or comedy bits. However, it is now more evident that his relationship to Nintendo is quiet different if we look at the number of times he and Reggie Fils-Aime palled on stage.
And then, it is also clear that his love for Mario Kart avidly exists on a larger level. Do you remember, Selena Gomez and Fallon singing the cover of the Mario Love Song together? Also, when he challenged UFC fighter Rounda Rousey for a race? Seems that even Nintendo cannot be put away from Fallon, he is super-duper obsessed.
