MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, News & Update: Owners Are Annoyed With These 2 Big Mistakes!

MacBook Pro 2016 was recently launched but not without several issues. Apparently, several purchasers of the 15-Inch Models have noted that the Apple device mistakenly indicates the wrong type of graphics card. Moreover, the 3-finger trackpad gesture is reportedly not working on a couple of devices.

Previously, Apple revealed that the MacBook Pro 2016 would feature the Intel HD Graphics 530. However, several 15-inch models of the device allegedly indicate an Iris Pro 580 instead. The graphics card inconsistency is said to confuse and even mislead several users, according to report.

MacRumors first cited user complaints of their 15-inch MacBook Pro 2016 with the Graphics Card Glitch. Several users reportedly noted the discrepancy when their netbooks were running on battery. The readout would later display the accurate specification when the unit was plugged into a power outlet.

Other MacBook Pro 2016 users reportedly noted that the device identifies the Iris Pro 580 but features the 191b string as well. It should be noted that the Intel HD Graphics 530 features this string. This led to speculation that Apple may have used a higher-spec graphics card only in their demo units. Additionally, the System Integrity Protection feature is also said to be disabled in units with the Touch Bar MacBook Pro models. Apple remains mum on the issue but may roll out a patch soon.

Meanwhile, other MacBook Pro 2016 users have also reported issues with the 3-Finger Trackpad Gesture.  Numerous tech watchers and commentators have speculated that the glitch may be caused by a software malfunction. Note that the trackpad gesture allows users to highlight text in documents and webpages easily since 2009. Apparently, the feature no longer works on Apple's latest device, TechPlz reported.

MacBook Pro 2016 also launched with only USB Type C ports. The base 13-inch models have two USB Type-C ports and the advanced 15-inch models have four of them. The device also came with a generation old Intel 6th Gen Skylake chips processor. Watch the MacBook Pro 2016 with Touchbar review here:
