The Pokémon franchise has reportedly gone through several generations of changes since "Pokémon: Red and Blue" was launched in 1996. This year, the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" has reportedly changed the whole core of Pokémon games. Furthermore, the latest "Pokémon Stars" is slated to launch on the Nintendo Switch.
Pokémon Sun and Moon is believed to be the freshest Pokémon game in the series. The game is set in the Alola Regions. Furthermore, the Pokédex has now become the trainer's pal. The game has reportedly been enhanced and renamed as Rotom Dex, the home of Rotom Pokémon.
In Pokémon Sun and Moon, the Rotom Pokémon is said to pack an enhanced map to decrease chances of getting lost. Additionally, the Poké Finder will allow taking pictures of hiding Pokémon in the wild. There is also the QR Scanner for scanning QR codes in the real world, Gameranx reported.
Moreover, the Alolan Pokemon is said to reintroduce old favorites like Meowth, Raichu and Diglett. The Pokémon creatures are said to be revamped with a new look and extra power. For instance Vulpix now sports a winter makeover.
The Poké Pelago has also opened for business which may be used for growing berries. The Poké Pelago will also include five islands for Pokémon to visit. The Isle Aphun, Isle Evelup and Isle Abeens are said to be included.
In other news, the Pokémon Stars, which is the third iteration of Pokémon Sun and Moon is said to come out on the new Nintendo console--the Nintendo Switch. The game is said to come with improved visuals in high-definition as well. Pokémon Stars is also slated to use a lot of concept art, TheNextWeb reported.
Pokémon Stars was originally expected to release in the summer of 2017. However, recent reports claim that the game has been pushed back to late 2017. The team reportedly needed more time to develop and polish the new Pokémon game on the newest console. The game is also expected to come with all the Alolan forms in Pokémon Sun and Moon.
