NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is expected to be released in January 2017 and fans could no longer wait to know more about its development, specs and features. According to the report, the powerful graphics card will carry impressive specs and features including a whopping 10 GB of RAM. There are speculations suggesting that NVIDIA is putting everything on this GPU as it could be the last piece of its Pascal technology.
Although the company has yet to confirm the reports, several predictions coming from tech observers suggest that the highly anticipated NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti will arrive during the Consumer Electronics Show or CES 2017 in January in Las Vegas. According to the report, the new GPU might serve as a good alternative for the mighty NVIDIA Titan X, which some reports are saying that the two GPUs could have several similarities.
NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti is also using the same GP102 GPU technology currently being used on Titan X and this will be good for fans as reports are circulating that the former will be available cheaper than the latter. Nonetheless, both graphics cards are for serious gamers who would want to experience full 4K gaming output.
It was previously leaked by WCCFTECH that the new NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti will carry 3328 CUDA Cores, 12GB GDDR5X Memory and 208 texture mapping units. The amazing GPU is also said to have a base clock speed of 1503 MHz and carries a total of 10 teraflops of computing horsepower.
Meanwhile, according to a report by Game N Guide, the upcoming NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti might have a price tag between $700 and $800. Although it appears to be still expensive, it's far way cheaper than the current NVIDIA GTX Titan X. Nonetheless, NVIDIA has yet to confirm the reports and the price of the much-awaited GTX 1080 Ti might start at a thousand dollars.
