Sony just recently announced that the company will re-release PlayStation 2 games for the PlayStation 4 this weekend. A variety of games such as "Darksiders: Warmastered" Amnesia: Collection", Samurai Shodown VI" and more will be released this weekend.
PlayStation 2 games featured in the PlayStation 4
Announced in the PlayStation blog for its weekly news release, PlayStation 4 will re-release PS2 games that will have updated graphics and new features for the upcoming games. Other than the aforementioned games, there are also game titles that were featured in the Arcade and couple of VR game titles.
The "Darksiders: Warmastered" that was released for the PS2 will be featured for the PlayStation 4 with the protagonist, War coming back. "Darksiders: Warmastered" features enhanced textures, rending, shadows, and post processing effects with the game running in sixty frames per second will surely get gamers going for "Darksiders: Warmastered."
Other than that, there is also "Amnesia: Collection" featured for the PlayStation 4, which offers three of the scariest trilogy that started the Let's Play revolution. "Amnesia: Collection" contains three of the "Amnesia" game titles such as "The Dark Decent", "A Machine For Pigs", and "Justine" remastered version for the PlayStation 4.
There are other games featured in PlayStation 4 such as "I, Zombie" that puts players in the shoes of the zombie itself. "I, Zombie" allows players to command the zombie horde and fight their way to freedom to dominate and repopulate the world with zombies.
"Laser Disco Defenders" for the PlayStation 4 is a self-inflicted bullet craze that combines retro sci-fi with the sounds and sights of the disco fever in the 80s. Players can explore randomly generated levels, completing missions to unlock new clothing, and customizing characters to gain abilities.
PlayStation 4 also brings back "Samurai Shodown VI" game title that was released for PS2 in 2006 before the game title got featured in the Arcade that resulted to the game's fan base. "Samurai Shodown VI" will have enhanced graphics for its release in the PlayStation 4, taking a little bit of pixelated graphics to sharpen the look of characters and its gameplay.
